Washington visiting her boyfriend Dusty. Puppies expected

Club of American National Specialty Show - I can hardly believe
it! Hope wins an Award of Merit at the NATIONAL in
Wisconsin. How cool is that? We are sooooooo excited
and so proud of Hope. She showed her heart out! |

Selah, Golden Gait Majestic Melody, goes on a road trip with
handler Robin Novak to Syracuse NY and ends up winning Best of
Breed from the classes over several specials for a 4 point major
under breeder judge Bonne Threlfall. Go Selah! |

Wisconsin KC under breeder judge David Flanagan. Hope

Specialty XV - Hope wins Best of Breed at the Specialty show in
Greenville, North Carolina under breeder judge Marissa O'Conner.
She is now Best in Specialty Ch. Golden Gait's Never Lose Hope. Weeeeee!! |

Hope flies across
the country to Long Beach, California and wins Best of Breed and
Best Bred by Exhibitor at the AKC Eukanuba National Championship
show under breeder judge Mary Ann Alston! We will be on TV
in February 2010 on Animal Planet. Watch for us! |

Groovy flies across
the country to Long Beach, California and goes Best of Breed at
Los Encinos KC under breeder judge Karen Roth. This show was the
day before the Southern California Specialty and the prestigious
AKC Eukanuba show. This was supposed to be Groovy's
retirement show. We are waiting for her to come into
season so she can have puppies in 2010! |

Golden Gait Sunblest, whelps 2 beautiful red puppies, 1 boy and
1 girl. Sire is Rocky, Am Can Ch. Jerabee Golden Gait Sequel.
Sophie is the BEST Mom and we are expecting beautiful and super
sweet kids from this cross. Rocky is the cuddliest boy dog
I have ever had and Sophie is super smart. Can't wait to watch
them grow up! |

American Spaniel Club - Woohoo!
Groovy, Ch. Golden Gait's Dance for Joy, wins an Award of
Merit under Breeder Judge Karen Whitfield! We are so proud.
This is the 2nd daughter of "Joy", BISS Am Can Ch. Jerabee Joy
of Golden Gait which has won an Award of Merit at the super
competitive American Spaniel Club Specialty Show.
The rest of the "kids" did good at Spaniel Club too....Brandon,
Golden Gait Jerabee Journeyman won his large Bred by Exhibitor
class, Cammie, Calypso Golden Gait
Grandeur, won 2nd in the open solid bitch class, and
Tango, Jerabee Golden Gait Sundance, was
2nd in the Bred by Exhibitor bitch class. |

Heart of Michigan back to back specialties - What a busy
weekend! The highlight of the weekend was 16 month old
Brandon going Best of Opposite Sex in Puppy Sweepstakes on
Sunday September 7. Georgia, Tango, Joy and Sunny
all did well, winning some classes and having fun.

August 16 and 17, 2008 -
Hope is a new Champion! Hope and I
flew out to Washington State for the Cascade Specialty show and
all breed shows needing just 5 points to finish. Hope took
a 4 point major at the Olympic KC show on Saturday after the
Specialty by going WB/BOW under judge Michael Faulkner.
The next day she needed just a single point but instead she won
a 5 point major to "finish" by going WB/BOW and then Best of Breed under judge
Mrs. D. Stoddard! Check out her
show picture from the Saturday show....I am so glad she
finished while she still had all that gorgeous coat!! |

June 27, 2008 -
Groovy is now CHAMPION Golden Gait's Dance for Joy! Mom
and I took a road trip out to beautiful Colorado for the English
Cocker specialty hosted by the EC Fanciers of Greater Denver and
Groovy went WB/BOW and Best Bred by Exhibitor under breeder
judge Bonnie Threlfall! Her younger sister Hope also made
us proud by going Best Puppy in Sweepstakes under breeder judge
Sue Dwelly! And if that wasn't enough excitement for the
day, Grandma "Joy" was Best in Veteran Sweeps and Brandon was
RWD. Whew! We had a a wonderful trip visiting with
friends and seeing the beautiful mountains.
Now we are taking a month off to rest. ;-) |

SUNNY takes Best in
Veteran Sweeps! Groovy, Hope, Summer, and Brandon all take
2nd in their big sweeps classes.
Regular classes with breeder judge David Flanagan - Sunny takes
Veteran Dog class. Groovy peed her crate and didn't make
it to the ring in time. ;-) Hope wins her class and
Brandon and Summer take 2nd in their class.
WHEW.....4 days of dog shows is just WAY TOO MUCH. Never again.
And, we didn't get to go home until Monday because we got stuck
in the blizzard. |
